Q: Are people under the age of 21 allowed?
A: Sunday – Thursday, those underage are welcome until 7pm. Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent at all times when at the pub. Friday & Saturdays, those under 21 are allowed at the pub depending upon the events taking place at both Penn State and Doggie’s Pub. Please check our social media for updates, as well as the “Events” tab on our website!
Q: Can I host an event at Doggie’s?
A: Absolutely! Fill out a contact form and our events team will get back to you.
Q: I see multiple charges on my credit card, what’s up?
A: Your credit card will reflect a pre-authorized $10 charge. It’ll disappear after up to 48 hours. This pre-authorization does not “charge” your account. You will only be charged the amount on your tab/bill when you close out. Please note that a 25% gratuity is automatically applied to any tab left open at business close.
Q: Can I bring in outside food and beverages?
A: We do not allow outside food. Check out our menu. We also do not allow guests to bring in outside beverages, which include water bottles, etc. Violation of this policy is grounds for immediate removal from the pub.
Q: Can I bring my bookbag in the pub?
A: We do allow you to bring your bookbag into the pub, however, we reserve the right to search/inspect such bag prior to entrance.
Q: Can I smoke a cigar, cigarette, or vape?
A: We are a smoke-free bar inside, however, if you wish to vape or smoke, please use our garden or patio outside. We do not allow cigar smoking unless it’s a cigar event. And this goes without saying, no illegal substances.
Q: Do I really need to show an ID to enter Doggie’s?
A: You sure do! No matter if you are 21 or 91, we card every person that comes to Doggie’s.
Q: When are dogs allowed?
A: Dogs are allowed in the beer garden until 7 PM. If it is a home football game or a busy weekend, check our Instagram for updates on whether or not dogs and guests under 21 are allowed.

We love having our 4-legged friends come and visit us! Dogs are welcome in our outdoors area, and we have water bowls and treats available. Unfortunately, our furry friends are not allowed inside the pub. Share your pictures of your best friend, and we will add them to our gallery both on the web and inside the pub.
